Shove a shank in my soul.
Spike a spine in my sorrow.

She stole my bicycle.
She ate my cookie.
She even tried to steal my sucker...

                     forgive\       /pain
          forget/hurt     feel/nothingness
     attend/funeral      accuse/functionality
    admit/faithlessness         arrest/fulfillment
             target/emotions         train/senses
                  tumble/toiletries toss/out
                                    and yet

They keep the showers warm.
The arousal of something never felt before.

Lop-sided heart stuttering to health and the finale of habitual hums.

The eggs this morning were warm.
I don’t mean to hurt. I mean to heal.
But it’s hard to heal when you hurt.

The one I wrote before this was feeling number One.
This one is feeling number Two.

So please, again, disregard the fact that it may not actually be good and take it for how I feel (although in this case it's more "how I hope not to feel";).

We're all talented in our own ways. It's taken a lot of work to get where I'm at and I still have a long long ways to go, lol. :P

Yeah this started out as a poem about me being all bummed out, well more than bummed out in all honesty. :P But I realized that there is always hope (the showers and eggs etc) so I wrote it in my poem.

Cold showers are good too. Not as good as nice scalding hot ones, but they're good none the less. =)
